Skogsö is a beautifully situated natural area in the northern part of Saltsjöbaden in Stockholm. Ceramicist Anna Löwenhielm has her studio in the Skogsö area where she produces ceramics. The vases are designed based on the design idea of less is more, with Scandinavian minimalism in mind. The idea with the range’s shapes is not to stand out. The ceramic stone vases are meant to enhance and decorate the environments, not to take over the scene.
The amazing final design in exclusive high-end indoor projects is often forgotten outdoors. Great, stylish design for outdoor spaces is easy to achieve with matching outdoor accessories like the Skogsö vases.
The Skogsö range is designed by Studio Norrlandet and turned by Anna Löwenhielm.
SKARGAARDEN OBJECTS is about art, artisans, crafts and producing in the most environmentally friendly way with sustainable materials found in our producers’ immediate area. And with a timeless design and not trends and colors that become outdated. We have always maintained that sustainability is about products that last, both in terms of design and that they are manufactured in such a high quality that they can be inherited by future generations.
Anna Löwenhielm designs and manufactures ceramics by hand in small series. She is a master potter and an experienced turner with a focus on ceramics that are functional and should last for many years of everyday use. The design is understated and primarily intended to highlight the content. She is inspired by the architecture of nature and man and likes to work with the structure of surfaces and combinations of different clays to create patterns. Anna’s business combines her own artistic creation with educational activities that aim to spread knowledge about clay as a source of joy and creativity.
Anna Löwenhielm has a Gesäll- and Master certificate in pottery, the highest proof of professional skill in a craft profession and is issued by the Swedish Crafts Council.
