The Tira range, created in collaboration with acclaimed Swedish designer Per Waern Jensen, draws inspiration from the unspoiled beauty of Sweden’s Tira islands. The collection captures the essence of Scandinavian minimalism while reflecting the timeless beauty of nature. The Tira armchair is inspired by the shape of a bird’s nest, with the chair’s legs embracing the seat and backrest like branches forming a protective structure, sleek yet inviting. Every detail in the design reflects the deep connection to nature that defines this collection.
The name “Tira” pays tribute to the Tira islands, a nature reserve in southern Sweden, renowned for its primeval forests and rich birdlife. With some of the country’s most diverse bird population, these islands offer an environment that has deeply influenced the collection. The result is a timeless, sustainable design that complements both modern and traditional spaces.
Per Waern Jensen is a Swedish furniture & interior designer. After working for more than fifteen years with retail and interior design as an employee he founded his own studio in the late summer of 2022. The studio is a result of Per’s desire to work more dedicated with furniture design.
